What auxiliary equipment do I need to train hard kettlebells?
1. Need a floor mat
If you are a minimalist trainer, skilled and never miss snatch and Turkish stand, only use ordinary mats. Place the kettlebell during training to avoid dropping the kettlebell and hitting the floor. If you have high requirements for training conditions, it is best to use fitness-dedicated mats for training. Choose the thicker one that is better for anti-skid, and fill the space you need. If the kettlebell falls to the ground due to lack of concentration, it will not damage the floor. Note: Try not to use a yoga mat. The yoga mat is soft and may slip and cause movement errors.
2. Magnesium powder is required
To keep your hands dry. Especially in summer, avoid sweating of the hands, which leads to a decrease in grip strength and hand-off. Various forms of non-slip magnesium powder are available.
3. No need for gym gloves, wrist guards, belts
The classic cast iron handle of the rigid kettlebell is relatively thick. The use of fitness gloves is equivalent to thickening the handle in disguise, and secretly weakening the grip effect. The novice will feel the pain of the forearm being pressed in the actions of all kinds of kettlebells in close contact with the forearm.
4. Shoes, there are two options
Barefoot training is mainly done at home. Another option is flat shoes with thin soles. Good feedback on the ground is enough, as simple as canvas shoes. But all kinds of thick-soled running shoes must be eliminated.
